Venue: Sacred Heart & St William Church Hall, 31 High Street, Uppermill
Time: 10am to 4.30/5pm
We will have several local crafter stalls, all selling quality goods, perfect for early Christmas shopping. We will also have a WI Tombola, a WI Stall and a WI Cafe. On the WI Stall we will be selling filled Jumble jars. These are jars filled with …. well, whatever you want.
Spa in a jar – toiletries
Car in a jar – mini cars
Sewing jar – thread, needles etc
Chocolates in a jar – mini chocolates
Christmas in a jar – table confetti/gift tags etc
The list is endless. The jars can then be decorated to look attractive.

We are still looking for donations of Tombola prizes / Cakes for the Cafe / Filled Jumble Jars for the Stall.
If you would like to donate, could you, please drop off your donations on Friday 15th between 1.30pm and 5pm or on Saturday 8.30am to 10.30am at Sacred Heart and St William Church Hall, High Street, Uppermill (at the side of Lucy Cobb).
It would also be greatly appreciated if you support us by attending on the day bringing your family and friends along to enjoy the experience. Remember it is now the run up to Christmas and there is no better place to start the festivities than doing a bit of retail therapy at the many local craft stalls we have at our first Autumn Fair.

COUNTRY LIVING CHRISTMAS FAIR – HARROGATE
Date: THURSDAY 25th NOVEMBER 2021
Time: 11.00am entry time
Ticket price: £17 per person
Coach: £10 per person (probably departing 9.15am ish)
The reserved tickets for entry to the Country Living Christmas Fair have now been paid for with the surplus tickets returned.
COACH TRIP TO HARROGATE
We do have seats on the coach available for those who want to enjoy Harrogate and all it has to offer. Harrogate is a vibrant spa town with many shops and attractions. Enjoy Betty’s Tea Rooms or the Ivy Harrogate to name just two of the many restaurants and cafes.

CHRISTMAS DINNER & DISCO

Venue: Dobcross Band Club
This year we will be hosting our own SWI Christmas Dinner and Disco at Dobcross Band Club with a three course meal, disco, games and much more.

WINE AND FOOD EXTRAVAGANZA

Time: Arrival 7pm – carriages 9.45pm
Cost: £40 per person
6 superb wines chosen by their sommelier accompanied with exquisite food. A wonderful experience. As a guide – see menu for their October event
As this is a public event we are happy for non members friends to come along, booked through us. Tickets to this event are not yet available to the general public.
£10 deposit required now and full payment by January meeting
FAT FRIENDS – THE MUSICAL
Date: Thursday 9th June 2022
Venue: The Lowry, Salford
Time: 7.30pm performance
Cost: £37.50 per person
Fat Friends – the musical, starring Lee Mead, based on the hit TV show Fat Friends that starred James Corden and Ruth Jones.
We have 20 tickets available. Payment in full required by the November meeting. We may arrange food beforehand and/or transport in due course.
